Yesterday I gave a presentation on blogging and art for a group of artists at Flatstation:
FLATSTATION presents Mostly It Happens At Night: public event 2
——————————————————————–
Sunday 11 January 2009, 16:00 – 19:00 hrsPresentations by: Sander Veenhof and Anne Helmond
Moderator: Lucas Evers
Music: Mark Meeuwenoord
Language: EnglishThis Sunday, January 11th, Flatstation presents the second public event of the project Mostly It Happens At Night. An afternoon in the Bijlmer where internet experts, artists and audience meet. This meeting takes place at Flatstation in the Bijlmer, and is part of a three-month trajectory where artists and curators explore fruitful ways of presenting art, both in physical and virtual space. In this trajectory there are several moments where the audience is invited to think along. The event is one of these moments to take account of the developments in and knowledge of art in public space and of the world wide web. After an open discussion between the speakers and the audience, Mark Meeuwenoord, musician living in one of the Florijn apartments, will conclude the afternoon with some new songs.
For the first time I actually recorded my talk and made a Slidespace of it on Slideshare. Enjoy!
Sander Veenhof gave a very interesting talk on “Physical Virtuality” where he showed some of his projects including Auto-interactive Worldwide Greenhouse, Bluetooth Friday and Ex-Alert.
Mark Meeuwenoord ended the evening with music.
