Thank you for clarifying these points! I'm glad to read you're proud to be a blogger even though it is still unclear what it stands for. I think it's just a matter of time. Blogs are still quite new and just settling in the media landscape. Once blogging has matured in the media landscape I think things will become different. Entering conferences as a blogger is becoming recognized now but it is neither a norm nor an exception. I would love to see it become a norm.

wooo! my dream is not exactly to be invited by ars electronica, i probably said that it would be a great honour but that it certainly wasn t my aim. you wrote that "It was more about technology and less about art." my focus has always been on art (and never on rfid technology). and bioart can be tech art, biotechnology is another technology. what i said is that i stopped focusing on digital tech. and no, no i never said nor thought that i dislike to call myself a blogger. i'm proud to be a blogger. i only said that not everyone regards me as being professional when they hear the word "blogger" and i am perfectly comfortable with the fact that for some it is still unclear what "blogger" stands for.
otherewise that's a very impressive summary of the talk.
